We saw countless elk an 11 grizzlies, with a Sow and two cubs coming into camp on the first morning!
What does your role involve, and what do you enjoy most about it?
Primarily my day to day is fieldwork, inspections, and observations. Alongside that I manage day to day operations in the Jackson office, I oversee management of our largest materials testing projects, making sure we fulfil our obligations to clients and contractors. I work closely with contractors, clients, and design teams to resolve challenges and keep projects moving forward. I enjoy building relationships with clients and contractors in the area. I also love learning different ways of construction.
What is your favorite part of working with this team?
The best part of working at Nelson Engineering is the people I work with. The passion that many of my coworkers have for everything in their lives, not just work, is such a wonderful thing to be around. My coworkers are also some of the best problem solvers I have ever met and dedicated professionals.
What do you like to do when you are not at the office?
Lately, I have been fishing when I can, other than that I am preparing for my first child in May 2026.
