In Granger, Wyoming, Nelson Engineering planned, developed, and provided construction management for a long-range rehabilitation, replacement, and extension program of the town water, sanitary sewer, and street infrastructures.
The project included the rehabilitation of all existing water distribution mains, construction of a new water storage tank to provide adequate supply, pressure, and fire supply, and a new water treatment plant. Also rehabilitated were the existing town sewer mains. Water and sewer utilities were extended under the tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad to a new light industrial district to accommodate future growth.

Nelson Engineering assisted the town in obtaining funding for the project. Funding is through a creative mix of locally-derived utilities fees, Specific Purpose Excise Tax monies, and grants from both the Wyoming Water Development Commission and the State Loan and Investment Board.
