What does your role involve, and what do you enjoy most about it?
As a Drafter for an Engineering and Surveying company, I use AutoCAD to create detailed drawings, maps, and plans that help bring projects from concept to reality. My role involves working closely with engineers and surveyors to ensure designs are accurate and meet project requirements. What I enjoy most is turning complex data into clear, precise drawings and seeing how those plans contribute to real-world projects in our communities.
What is your favorite part of working with this team?
I enjoy being part of a small team where everyone works closely together. It creates a supportive environment, and I appreciate being able to learn from my two bosses while contributing to a variety of projects.
What do you like to do when you are not at the office?
When I’m not at the office, I’m usually spending time at home working on renovation projects. Right now, my family and I are renovating our basement and tackling landscaping projects around the house. We also enjoy getting away to our cabin whenever we have the chance. Much of my free time is spent supporting my daughter and cheering her on at her various sporting events.
