On February 6, 2015 the Wyoming Engineering Society selected the Path 22 West Pathway Bridge as the Presidential Project of the Year.
This award was presented to Nelson Engineering and our partners including: Teton County Engineering – Jackson Wyoming; Teton County Pathways – Jackson Wyoming; HNTB – Bridge Engineers; Meridian Engineering PC – Hydraulic Engineering; Biota Research & Consulting – Environmental; Hershberger Design – Landscape Architecture; Shelly Simonton – Public Information Program; & Cannon Builders – General Contractor.
Contributing Agencies & Entities Included: Jackson Hole Community Pathways; Friends of Pathways; Jackson Hole Land Trust; Town of Jackson; LOR Foundation; Rendezvous Lands Conservancy; and Rendezvous Park.
The Path 22 West Pathway Bridge is a 706 foot long bridge located in Teton County that spans the Snake River near Wilson Wyoming. This pathway bridge serves pedestrian, bicycle, equestrian, and cross country skiing users.
The Grand Opening Ceremonies were held on September 21, 2014.
